GIBBON North America – Vice President, Marketing

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Vice President of Marketing, based in our Solana Beach, California office, to lead the rapid growth of the GIBBON brand across North America. This customer-obsessed leader will oversee all aspects of marketing, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling innovative consumer product companies from around $40 million to more than $100 million in revenue, with experience across direct-to-consumer, B2B, and brick-and-mortar channels.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and inspire the marketing organization, earning the trust of the team and driving them to achieve company goals.
  • Take full accountability for the performance and outcomes of the marketing function.
  • Recruit top talent and cultivate a culture that enables long-term success and operational excellence.

Strategy:

  • Develop the marketing strategy required to achieve the company targets set by the CEO, with a particular understanding of direct-to-consumer marketing tactics including television advertising, email marketing, influencer marketing and social media.
  • Develop and execute the brand strategy, including a potential brand overhaul that will filter through every consumer touchpoint, including the website, customer service, and all marketing channels.
  • Manage creative briefing, development, and go-to-market execution.
  • Oversee comprehensive demand generation programs that build brand awareness and drive qualified leads.
  • Drive customer retention through loyalty programs, community building and innovative marketing strategies.

Brand & Consumer Leadership:

Qualifications:

  • Superb marketing skills and experience across all marketing disciplines, from brand build to marketing communications to performance marketing.
  • Experience as a senior marketing leader in a rapidly growing >$20 million revenue consumer product company; experience growing the company to >$100 million in revenue preferred.
  • Demonstrable success in the art of marketing and a fluency with the science of marketing.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of brands and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Hybrid work schedule (three days) based out of Solana Beach, California.

Total compensation for this position in San Diego, CA is targeted at $300,000–$400,000 including base salary and bonus combined. Base pay will depend on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Bonuses are tied to individual and company performance. An equity incentive may also be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical and 401(k) benefits.

GIBBON North America – Vice President, Direct to Consumer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Vice President, Direct to Consumer, based in our Solana Beach, California office, to lead and scale GIBBON’s owned and marketplace revenue channels across North America. This executive will own end-to-end performance of the DTC business—including our website, Amazon, and other marketplaces—driving sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and customer lifetime value.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of profitably scaling high-growth consumer product companies from approximately $40 million to over $100 million in revenue, with deep expertise in DTC, Amazon, and performance-driven go-to-market models. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and close cross-functional partnership across marketing, operations, finance, and product.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Ownership

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the Direct-to-Consumer business, including our website, Amazon, and other marketplace channels.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing DTC and eCommerce organization, earning the trust of teams and executive leadership.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, speed, and results.
  • Take full accountability for channel performance, revenue growth, margin, and customer experience.

Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the DTC growth strategy aligned with company revenue and profitability targets set by the CEO.
  • Lead channel-specific strategies across owned eCommerce and Amazon, balancing brand, conversion, retention, and unit economics.
  • Own acquisition, conversion, retention, and LTV strategies across paid media, email/SMS, influencer, affiliate, TV, and owned social channels.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure brand strategy and storytelling are effectively translated into DTC and marketplace execution.
  • Drive Amazon strategy including catalog optimization, advertising, promotions, content, reviews, pricing, and operational coordination.

Execution & Optimization

  • Ensure flawless execution across site merchandising, CRO, customer journey optimization, and promotional calendars.
  • Actively participate in execution when required—personally owning key initiatives, launches, or performance turnarounds.
  • Optimize CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and inventory efficiency through rigorous testing, analytics, and forecasting.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to align inventory planning, fulfillment, and service levels with demand.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Product on launches, pricing, assortment, and lifecycle management.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Align with Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless post-purchase support and retention.
  • Serve as a senior leader in go-to-market planning across DTC, Amazon, and wholesale channels.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in DTC, eCommerce, or digital commerce roles within a high-growth consumer product company.
  • Proven success scaling a DTC and/or Amazon business from ~$40M to $100M+ in revenue.
  • Deep expertise across performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, and marketplace growth.
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, contribution margin, inventory dynamics, and demand forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and execute in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

PT Motion Works – Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager, based in our San Diego warehouse, to oversee and optimize the warehouse, fulfillment, and assembly operations supporting the growth of all four of our brands. This role will have full accountability for day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and fulfillment systems, while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with supply chain, logistics, and product teams to support product launches, seasonal peaks, and omnichannel distribution. This role will also oversee the assembly for our Slackboard products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing warehouse operations in fast-growing consumer product companies with more than $50M in revenue, with a proven track record of scaling processes to support high-volume direct-to-consumer, B2B, international and Amazon channels, while maintaining operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalable procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing warehouse and SlackBoard assembly teams, including leads, associates, and temporary staff.
  • Recruit top talent and foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Coach and mentor staff to maximize productivity, engagement, and operational excellence.

Execution & Operations

  • Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and fulfillment systems.
  • Oversee all day-to-day SlackBoard assembly processes and teams.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment to meet service-level agreements and customer expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Continuously identify process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and workflow optimizations.
  • Implement and maintain effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational tools.

Performance Management & KPIs

  • Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout using the WMS, ensuring all inventory locations are clearly defined, accounted for, and properly labeled.
  • Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound logistics schedules, including receiving, shipping, and fulfillment planning.
  • Establish, document, and enforce receiving SOPs, ensuring the receiving team consistently executes daily tasks in compliance with defined procedures.
  • Establish, document, and enforce shipping SOPs, ensuring picking, packing, and shipping teams execute daily operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Implement and enforce comprehensive health and safety programs to maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Develop and train warehouse staff to remain aligned with frequently changing daily schedules and operational priorities.
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure daily inspection checklists are completed by operators.
  • Optimize the SlackBoard assembly process to consistently meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities, implementing corrective actions and process enhancements.
  • Improve inventory accuracy and order accuracy through ongoing analysis of daily and monthly performance trends and targeted process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven operational leader with 5+ years of experience building, scaling, and leading a large warehouse of a consumer products company.
  • Demonstrated people-management experience, including direct management of teams of five or more employees.
  • Experience managing a 20,000+ sqft facility.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation and Schedule

  • This role is required to be onsite five days a week in San Diego, California 92121.

The hiring range for this position in San Diego, CA starts at $100,000+. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.

Amazon Marketplace Manager 

 What You’ll Do: 
 Amazon Channel Ownership: 

  •  Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of GIBBON’s Amazon marketplaces
  • Manage listings, merchandising, advertising, promotions, and marketplace performance
  •  Maintain strong marketplace fundamentals while continuing to evolve brand presentation and customer experience
  • Drive both  revenue growth and profitability  across Amazon marketplaces

 Marketplace Growth & Strategy: 

  •  Identify opportunities to expand our catalog and increase marketplace reach  
  • Build and optimize  customer acquisition funnels within Amazon  
  • Collaborate with leadership, agencies, and internal teams to execute quickly and scale successful  initiatives  
  • Develop systems, documentation, and playbooks that support long-term marketplace growth

 Global Marketplace Expansion: 

  •  Support expansion and optimization across  North America and Europe 
  • Work across brands and marketplaces as we continue building our  global marketplace strategy 
  • As the organization grows, this role may evolve to take full ownership of a major geographic region

 What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Amazon marketplace management experience 
  • Experience working with eight- or nine-figure brands on Amazon 
  • Proven ability to drive significant revenue and profit growth  within Amazon marketplaces 
  • Strong understanding of Amazon marketing, merchandising, and conversion optimization 
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with  performance data and spreadsheets 
  • Bachelor’s degree required (field of study less important than strong analytical and problem-solving skills)
